Aloe vera is great for releiving the itch and burn of shaving, but what (if anything) could you use to stem the blood from a nick - and yes, I'm a bleeder.
Let me put it another way; if the world were to fall to crap tomorrow and you couldn't buy any shaving paraphinalia, what would you use to stop the blood from a nick. In fact, what would you use to lather up with and use as an aftershave?
My thoughts - though untested - would be plain old alcohol to stop the blood, Aloe vera to sooth, and perhaps some type of herbal infused alcohol to smell pretty afterward. (Bergamot or Sandlewood being my two preferences). As for the lather...I'm not sure, but I guess making soap would be fairly straight forward? (Google, here I come).
What are your thougts?
