Thread: i want a long lasting aftershave

I have been use club man for a while, because there products are good, very masculine feel, they treat my skin, and they smell good. Most of there products last long but a few (bay rum) last on 30 minutes. Bay rum happens to be my favorite aftershave, and i was really disappointed that it just dies out after a half hour. Is there a longer last after shave that has a masculine smell

The Trumpers aftershaves really last a long time IMO, and so do the Penhaligons ones.

Trumpers do a bay rum AS which would be worth checking out. Their Spanish Leather is also excellent!

Most bay rums simply don't last. I think it's the nature of the stuff. Probably the few that do contain other ingredients that have staying power. I haven't found them myself.

I find the Ogallala Bay Rum does not stay too long also, and thats one I love also.

I dunno about any bay rums that stick around for a while. The longest-lasting aftershaves I've tried all come from L'Occitane. I'm not sure precisely what you'd consider "masculine", but they all seem pretty masculine to me.

Old Spice hangs in there for me. I notice it leaves my skin a little oily (probably why it hangs around longer) , but I sweat like a horse, so it's hard to tell. My two favorite scents are Clubman and Old Spice, both are long lasting and inexpensive.

Really? For me it's the opposite, I put that stuff on and I'm smelling the stuff all day long! Maybe I just have a more sensitive nose... or am using way too much

I find the AOS sandalwood sticks around for the good part of the day.

Royall makes a Spice variety and a Vetiver variety. I have both and they are pretty industrial strength and last many hours.

I've found that nothing lasts longer than TOBS Sandalwood Luxury After Shave Gel. It has a very masculine sandalwood scent that literally lasts for hours and hours. Check the review...It's a tad pricey, but worth it imho...
