I'm a big Little Feat fan but, sadly, am too young to have seen Lowell George perform. I enjoy the more modern iterations of the band as well as the older stuff so my Feat collection tends to be less focused than some.

With summer I tend to shave later in the day so I can actually enjoy some music without my lovely wife sleeping on the other side of the door. Lately it's been Tedeschi-Trucks, Louis Armstrong, James Taylor or random radio tracks from the local alternative rock station.

Mostly just the brush tinging against the shave mug, and the sound of hair being snipped at skin level.

    Music to my ears.

KING FM 98.1 - Classic Radio Inc. out of Seattle Washington got to be the best for classical music. Which is what I always listen to, shaving or thinking about shaving or whatever I'm doing. If you enjoy the classics, once you've tuned into KING you're done looking for other sources of music.

I felt that way for a long time tuning in to WQXR Classical Radio New York City broadcasting from the Empire State Building. The "Radio station of The New York Times" they used to call it back then because they featured New York Times articles and news between Classical music. When I lived in Upstate New York years ago, the cable TV company actually piped it in on their FM band tap (a feature cable companies offered before Digital Music Streaming and the Internet) via microwave link from New York City. State-of-the-art stuff at the time. Listening to an FM station 200 miles away via a cable TV FM Tap was amazing back then. So that was where my FM dial on my stereo usually hung out.

Then I went back to Jazz and it's been Jazz ever since. I've been in love with Jazz since I was 17. But I do appreciate Classical music. Especially Mozart.

Currently streaming WUCF Jazz Radio from Orlando, FL. Otherwise I'm streaming CJRT Jazz Radio from Toronto.

    Aloha!
