    Default A lanolin question

    Had a pharmacist tell me that if you melt Vaseline petroleum jelly, you've got lanolin. True?

    I'd go somewhere else for advice -- the man (woman) is incompetent, and doesn't know it.

    Lanolin comes from sheep. Vaseline is a heavy distillate of mineral oil.
