Default Origins Easy Slider Pre Shave Oil

I have recently been able to try another Pre Shave Oil. I ran out of my AOS oil and have since tried a few others. I like the AOS Preshave Oil and was pretty sure that I would be disappointed, but such is not the case. My most recent purchase has been from an "Origins" store. They are an all natural skin care retailer with a mens line. There men's line includes a shave cream called "blade runner", some facial scrub and after shave balm, pre shave oil and a shave burn oil. I purchased the Preshave oil and was given a sample of the shave cream. I have to say that I am plesantly surprised anxious to write this review.

    Pre-Shave Oil:
Packaging: The packaging is actully very nice. The bottle comes in a box with a detailed description of the all natural ingredients. The bottle is 1.7 ounces which is a little more than some. The oil comes out of the bottle very slowly when the bottle is turned upside down. Not because the oil is thick, they've just designed the opening in the bottle this way. It's great. It doesnt' spill and it dispenses just the right amount each time. This bottle allows you to not waste your product.

Texture: The oil almost feels like it has glycerine or silicone in it, but it does not. The product is 100% natural. This oil is quite a bit thinner than AOS. It applys to your face much easier than AOS and does not get all over the sink and fixtures and razor. Unlike AOS it washes off easily.

Scent: The scent is clean and almost reminds me of noxema. but more pleasant, not as strong and it doesn't last long. I like it.

Effectiveness: The oil leaves just the right amount of moisture behind. It really seems to penetrate my bird. Origins Easy Glide Pre-Shave oil advertises, "friction free glyde to your blade" and it does just that!I have to say that I am impressed, and surprised.

Cushion: I believe it adds some cushion to your creame or soap

Moisturising: Adds a lot of moisture to your skin without an oily feel

Price: At 15.00 for 1.7 ounces with a bottle that helps you conserve and instructions that say use 3 to 5 drops, I think this product is very inexpensive. I expect that this small bottle, if used every day, could easily last 9 months to a year. The major complaint I have had with others preshaves I've used is that they don't last long enough before I'm hunting for more. This product is very effective, the best I've tried, and economical to boot!

Overall impression: I am very impressed with this product. I was initially a bit skeptical because I thought that the thick oil of AOS was adding great cushion to my shave.. Hey cushion .. smushion.. this stuff is great and my straight razor does glyde over my beard better than it has with other products. I'm am very impressed. I highly recommend this product. Get a sample and give it a try. Let me know what you think.

Default Pre Shave Oil from Origins

I am still using the same bottle that I purchased quite some time ago.. 9 months it looks like. wow!!.. I still have 1/3 bottle left. This is a great product. I can't seem to say enough good aobut it. The scent is a refreshing euculyptus. The packaging is nice and it dispenses a small amount easily. You really don't need much. It gives a better then average cushion and causes the blade to glyde across the skin better then any of the other four I have tried so far. The price is right, considering I have been using the product 2 to 3 times a week for 3/4 of a year and I still have 1/3 of a bottle left. Try this one.. Origins is a retail chain found in many malls. Their skin care line bost all natural products.
