Default Adding Pure Glycerin to Aftershaves

I started adding 10 drops of Pure Glycerin to every 4oz of aftershave awhile back, with very softening results.... You can find this stuff just about everywhere they have a Pharmacy... if not there, try near the baby supplies. It adds no scent, so your favorite smell is OK, give this a try it is worth the effort, to be honest I tried it in my Aqua Velva Musk and my Old Spice before I put it in everything else

Thats a neat idea... I will definitely give it a try. I have to admit that I prefer most of the "old fashioned" aftershaves that are not very friendly to the skin (Topaz, Old Spice, Master Bay Rum, etc.) this might just make them even more usable.

I've done this once or twice. Be carefull though....too much and your face will feel sticky for almost a day.

I've done this with my Dominica and it does help. I've also heard warnings not to use too much though....

I think the 10 drops per 4oz of AS is about the right amount, but you're going to have to decide yerself how much you wanna push it..... I get no sticky feeling from this small amout though

As always, good advice from gssixgun.
Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a shot.

Is there a specific name for it or is it just called glycerin?

Gssixgun said in the chat it's called "pure glycerin" and found at walmart in the pharmacy area "a small bottle near the WH and alcohol."
