Thread: Who's tried Gabel's products?

Has anyone on this forum tried Gabel's aftershave products? I wonder if they have short-lived scents. God bless.

I've tried their bay rum (in fact I have half of a 1 gallon container I bought several years ago from a barber shop). Not bad. There's no added scents such as cloves or allspice, just bay rum oil (Pimenta Racemosa). Very similar to Dominica Bay Rum except that Gabels has a yellow coloring agent (it darkens with age) and sucrose (as an emulsifier, or maybe to make it more palatable for those who take a sip now and then?)
