Pinaud Special Reserve, An Embarrassing Moment

Today I went to a Houston drug store that I had learned stocked some wet-shaving supplies. Upon arrival, I noticed that they seemed to carry every scent that Pinaud currently makes. I noticed a number of bottles of Pinaud Special Reserve, which I had never heard of. One of the bottles was open so that you could sample it. Being my inquisitive self, I opened the bottle, place it under my nose, and squeezed in order to get a good sniff of the scent.

Well, I must have squeezed way too hard, because the liquid from the bottle shot up my nose, ran down my chin, and soaked the upper part of my shirt. I quickly put the lid back on the bottle, wiped my dripping face, and looked around to see if anyone had witnessed my moment of idiocy. Thankfully, no one seemed to have noticed, and by the way, it was a really nice scent.

So, I casually walked up to the cashier, smelling like a walking Pinaud advertisement, and paid for the bottle of Special Reserve. The gracious cashier made no mention of my wasting a good portion of their sample bottle, nor the fact that I absolutely reeked of the scent. By the way, if you like Pinaud Special Reserve, you would absolutely love the interior of my Mini Cooper. I won't be needing an air freshener in my car for quite a while.

If anyone in the Houston area is interested, the drug store is Lifecheck Drug Store, located in a shopping center on the corner of Post Oak and San Felipe. They have a pretty good selection of aftershaves and colognes.

Lol...great story. I swear some folks here are a little nuts

First, it was folks licking their naniwa stones and now snorting aftershave....wild!

Although i am a fan of the special reserve the gf is not, so i dont wear it that often, however the original, vanilla, and musk r by far my favorite

Nice.. I personally have not done that (Yet) but my daughter has with Shave Cream which is a little harder to hide

I have a bottle of Special Reserve that I just purchased on line as I can not find it locally.
