    Default Sandalwood?

Not too long ago, I picked up a tube of Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood shave cream. I love the scent and was interested in the aftershave, but to my dismay the aftershave is a good $40 or more from my regular Canadian dealers.
Are there any Sandalwood aftershaves(looking more for lotions and splashes as opposed to balms) that won't put a dent in my student wallet?

    Thumbs up

As they say, "Ask the man who owns one!"

I highly recommend the Sandalwood from Demeter Fragrance Library. The scent is faithful and appealing, and the cost of a 1oz spray bottle won't keep you from taking Susie to the "hop".

I saw this thread and thought to revive it. I am looking for the exact same thing, except I AM looking for a balm. Any suggestions?

I use the skin food. The fragrance isn't what I want it to be, but I don't know of anything else. So for a smell I like, I use an EdT, but the ones I use are discontinued and/or expensive, so no point of recommending them.

The AOS sandalwood sandalwood shaving balm is pretty good, i like the smell definitely one of the better smelling sandalwoods, however can be pretty pricey, overpriced in my mind.

I use C&E (Crabtree & Evelyn) Sandalwood aftershave balm, and recommend it to you.
