I would describe it as a "leather-like" scent. A strong scent, i might add.
I like it, but that's a personal preference imho...
    WERE to buy??
    Wouldn't know that, i'm afraid........being a Dutchman and all.......

I am very biased... but I gotta say that I hate this AXE stuff... and it isn't because of the annoying commercials.

When I was in Brazil for a few years, this stuff was everywhere, and in some places it was the only kind of deodorant to be found. I developed a deeply seeded hate fore all AXE products, and I felt like I was in the lap of luxury when I got some plain Old spice deodorant again.

Don't mean to be a downer, but since you asked

No, don't feel bad about voicing your opinion especially when asked...

I used to use AXE deodorants, sprays and such... Then switched to TAG, and now I am currently using Old Spice Denali I believe.

Reason I asked was I did not know AXE made an aftershave until I seen it in a SOTD post.

Thanks for the input though guys

Is AXE the same as Lynx in the UK? IIRC its the same stuff?

I had a couple of Lynx colognes when I was younger and they are kinda cheap smelling. I'm not a big fan I must admit.

    Yeah, it's the same stuff.

And to the OP, I don't think they have it in the states,
atleast from what I have found online.
You can get some from Ebay, I have seen it on there quite a bit.

i avoid tag and axe like the plague!.......do yourself a favor and get an aftershave and a colonge thats not associated and marketed towards kids.....if you dont like the classic scents take a look at some in a nice department store (walmart doesnt count) and find what you like....

Here Axe is the brand for teens. Very strongly scented, cheap and available almost everywhere. There are other similar brands as well, but maybe Axe is most popular. At least they have the sexiest commercials.

My son uses it every now and then, and unfortunately you can really smell it. In fact you cannot hide from it. Maybe it has some effect on teen girls or maybe it is just wishful thinking. Have to ask my son. At least in the TV commercials the man with the Axe always gets straight into business with beauty queens; every time and everywhere

Might be worth some investigation. I seem so remember being rather partial to them.
