Just Wondering
Has anyone every made an aftershave with Bourbon? Sort of like Bay Rum, but with Bourbon. I was thinking some sort of vanilla bourbon combo might be nice, but I don't want to smell like a roosterbutt (it bleeps me when I type ****tail, meaning an adult beverage).

You can buy a fragrance oil that sounds just like what you are asking for here
I never tried it and do not know anything of the seller, just the first thing that popped up in google, but from the few user reviews I read it seems to hit the spot. Best of luck
Edit: It is never a good idea to try pure oils directly on your skin. If you attempt to use this product, read up on their safety instructions here
"Our high quality, concentrated, cosmetic grade fragrance oils are skin safe when used properly diluted" and "They are generally used at 2-5% in formulations" are worth mentioning.

Thanks for the post. I'm not sure I understood the part about matching the scent to the color.
I think I may give up on the vanilla part. It seems that it comes straight from Mt. Olympus from the hand of Zeus or something. It is rather expensive.
Anyone else tried making bourbon aftershave?
Thoughts? I'm open to ideas.
