Thread: what's your current aftershave rotation?

sure we've all covered this in the past.. just wanted to know what people were currently using.. for me..

pinaud clubman original
pinaud virgin island bay rum
old spice original
aqua velva ice blue


in the near future i plan on picking up some lilac vegetal as well as some english leather..

what about you guys?

My opinion of course but.....Tried the Lilac Vegetal and hated it.Thought it was a disappointment.It smelled better in the bottle than it did goin on. Using the Peeno..heh...smellgood line m'self. Special Reserve mmmm !.Lime Sec,Bay Rum,and original Pinaud Clubman,Sometimes I break out the Old Spice also. Y'know Vic,it's a funny thing...I keep using the smellgood but to my dismay,there seems to be no lineup of cute French Canadian or Russian girls at my door?? I may have to write a letter to the Pinaud Company.Most disappointing indeed !

I use Ice Cubes, then an Aloe Vera toner from Mario Bedesque.

For me its: Pinaud Clubman, Proraso, Hawleywoods #9, Boosters Aquarius.

i do love the smellgood line.. have yet to try the special reserve.. though i want to.. i heard it smells of extremely old leather bound books..

as for the vegetal.. i love the old school classiness of it.. but have had a few girls say it smells like a dry salad.

The Vegetal smells like lilac in the bottle,but going on it smells??....Off ?? I can't think of any other way to describe it ?? The Reserve is kinda smokey and leathery.I really like it,but again,just my opinion.I was first not so sure of it,but it really grows on you IMHO.

that's the thing with most aftershaves.. i can remember the first time i smelled the pinaud clubman original.. the musky note really bothered me.. in fact.. i was almost grossed out.. it took a few times wearing it before i really liked it..

the vegetal smells good to me.. so i wear it.. even if i get a few who make a wrinkly face over my scent..

does the reserve come in a 12oz bottle?

Not that I have ever seen.I think it only comes in 6 oz. I think you'll really like it though.

yeah.. i think i'll like it too.. i'm starting to gain interest in leathery scents.. still not really into the wood scents though.

I use now: Givency bleu label, but had last week a sample of Jean paul gaultier, Le Male.
Can say yes i like that to.
