Thread: WOOHOO!! Skin food!!

A year or two ago me and my wife visited London. And when visiting Trumpers I brought home a bottle of Sandalwood Skin food. It ran out in about a year (100ml) and I've been annoyed that I didn't get the biggest bottle ever since then.

So I decided to treat myself and simply order the biggest bottle from them. It came yesterday....my goodness that stuff smells amazing. It was expensive (around €60) but it'll last me a LONG time and smells and feels divine!

Only thing is that since yesterday the dental surgeon removed one of my wisdom teeth my face is still swollen and painfull and I don't want to shave just yet...puts a slight damper on the whole situation.

Just wanted to share my excitement.

Skinfood=heaven!

I had the big bottle. I swear the stuff grows by itself faster than you use it. I had that bottle for years. I finally had to trash it cause it started to deteriorate. it became very thin and the scent changed.

The Trumpers Sandalwood skin food is my favorite far and away.

I can believe that. It's like usage doesn't really diminish the contents of the bottle.

Had a wonderfull shave with it last night.

Anyway to get a sample of this Skin Food? I have Pre-Shave Oil AD right now.

Try contacting Trumpers. They used to have an awesome sampler pack for a decent cost. Perhaps they still do. It's great stuff, so IMO I'd say skip on the sampler and buy a bottle, even if it's the smaller "travel" size. That's what I have, and like these other gentlemen have noted, a little goes a long way.

I requested a sample from them back when I first started using a straight and they sent me one at no cost. I don't know if they still do this.

They gave me the Rose skin food sample and I think it lasted me around 2 months.

Skin Food is great stuff! I actually got one of those samplers a ways back--I liked the limes & coral, but to each his own. Your face feels great after a shave w/ that stuff as an A/S!

I agree totally! I use it as PRE and AFTER shave. Love the stuff, I'll have to get rid of my other aftershaves now I think.
