Default Prosaso aftershave (splash) opinions needed

I've just made the trip down to Sydney and spotted some Proraso A/S in a shop near by. I love the mentholated soap and have been looking for some mentholated A/S. Its $28 bucks a for a 100ml bottle here which isnt rediculously expensive but it aint cheap either. i'd be interested to hear if any of you guys like or dislike it before dropping $28
    Thanks
    Grant

In the past I bought expensive AS. But I learned Brut and Old Spice work as good as these expensive stuff.
I never used the Proraso AS, but I think you get liters of cheaper AS for the same money.I'd rather buy a Teddybear

    Hello, baldy:

I have tried Proraso aftershave. It's pleasantly cool and soothing to the face. Some gentlemen like the fragrance and some don't. Fragrances are a personal choice. Not all that fond of the fragrance myself, I could not wait to finish my bottle so that I could retire Proraso aftershave permanently.

    Regards,

    Obie

Speick is a bit cheaper and is comprised of natural ingredients. Smells great too!

    Grant,
I sorta kinda agree with Obie here. I also recently got some Proraso AS splash and actually like the scent...None of the AS I have last long anyway, so it doesn't really matter as far as scent goes. But, I think for that price, you can have something better. I like Floid (my go to, almost everyday AS) or even DR. Harris line. Since you like TABAC, that may another choice. I really love TABAC (both AS and EdC). St. Charles also makes great lines (although not sure what shipping will cost to AUS).

Proraso a/s splash is one of those rare aftershaves that has a high alcohol content yet is soothing to the skin. It really isn't harsh at all, and the menthol kick it gives is very refreshing in the Summer (so it should be great for Austrialian weather ). I also find the scent quite pleasant, or at least it is to my nose. But $28 sounds expensive. Here in Edmonton, where nothing is cheap compared to the States, it can be found for about half that amount - which makes it that much more attractive!

You never know until you try....

I use Proraso AS for many years now and stuff is excellent. The price in Italy (I am about 50km from Italian border) is about 3,5 EUR (cca. 5 USD).
Also Proraso pre/dopo cream is great addition to AS.
