Truefitt & Hill sandalwood as balm
Earlier this week I ordered a TH sampler, it came in and first chance I got a used the sandalwood cream and as balm. The cream was great but I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with persistent burn from the aftershave. I'm used to the burn from straight rubbing alcohol (that's what I used for as for around 6 years) and alcohol heavy as splashes but this was different. It seemed to burn for a long time, 20-30 minutes, leaving my face red and tender for at least an hour. I'm just wondering if anyone else had this happen? Im planning on trying a different scent to see if maybe it's just that particular one that doesn't agree with my skin. Thanks for your time.

Haven't done the sandalwood, but the ones I've used in the sampler so far have done better than anything else I've tried. I would guess it just doesn't agree with your skin. Might try the ultimate comfort balm, and see if you still have a reaction. If that goes fine I would say it's likely just something in that particular scent.

I tried the ultimate comfort balm and it worked like a dream. No burning, redness or irritation. It's great stuff and now I see why people love it so much.

Because these AS are heavily scented, it's not surprising that they may cause some burning. I experienced the same thing earlier this week with Grafton AS.
