So it says two Nils Grönstrand razors, but the second image shows what looks like a Wostenholme or a Geo. Johnson reversed. I wonder if he had different marks or if they just labeled the second razor wrong. I would love to see if he had other marks and if any match mine. It doesn't seem as easy to find the Swedish ones as it is with the Sheffield though.

FYI this is likely a William Ryals instead of Ryan.

    Hello rideon66

I agree that your stamp doesn't clearly show a E (neither a crown, by the way), but it doesn't clearly show anything actually...

I have such a blade at home (therefore did I find that swedish page), I'll try to post a picture to compare. But as far as I remembered, the stamp on mine was clearly similar; I first thought the crowned E was for King Edward VII, but the shape definitely didn't match with the period, so I kept digging.

    Hey Inoe,

Would love to see a pic of yours. The only thing that doesn't match up is that second symbol. That blade style and tang are a match and I have not seen them on other blades. The pipe is exactly the same too. I am thinking more and more that the second symbol in mine is just a bad stamp, but would need more info from razors of that period from Sweden to be really be sure. Thanks for that info never would have found that on my own.

Still in "as found" condition, but I got a matched pair of shorty travel razors in ivory, with original case. Early Nowill, probably Thomas.
