Thread: Venturous Valets and Autostrops

You dont see to many people using them. Ive got some that are old and some that are newer. Some that are American and one thats British. Some are open comb some have the bar. Ive got several blades and the hones to hone them. Ive also got a few strops with the rubber being my favorite.

Nice collection, I have about 15 of these myself, and made myself some extra strops for them. One of my own strops is sprayed with diamond spray, so I can experiment with it to sharpen the blades.

I have a few old valet blades that I want to hone up again, what do you use, or how do you hone your blades?

I do several passes on a DE V hone the do a few finish strokes on a arched DE hone.
