Default FS A. Napiorkowski Chicago Illinois Straight Razor Honed - $20 Shipped

    A. NAPIORKOWSKI WARRANTED CHICAGO, ILL
    Hollow ground Straight Razor
Some rust and pitting but not bad shape. Scales are nice.
Honed this myself today and test shaved with it. I'm not as experienced as other honers so I'm reluctant to to just say "shave ready". If one of you guys that does a lot of honing buys it I would really like to hear your analysis.
Will post blade size when I find ruler.

    $20 Shipped CONUS

    Thanks!

That's a nice looking razor at a really good price, but that spike is just wanting to carve me up! GLWS!

By my ruler it was a solid 5/8 if not a hair over.

I used to think the spikes would cut me if I used them, but I haven't had a problem with them. Maybe it is because I try to use the center of the blade more, or because I keep a beard and don't shave my jaw area as much. Maybe I'm just using them wrong.

Your picture showing the grind is pretty fuzzy, but it looks fairly wedge shaped, maybe 1/4 hollow? Could you give your best approximation of the grind or a clearer picture? Thanks.

I'm still cautious about the spike blade - I have one and occasionally nick myself. If you're coming down toward Savannah area sometime bring it to me. That way I can feed my RAD without the w-i-f-e finding out!

I am somewhat amazed that this thing hasn't sold. Maybe everyone's Christmas shopping.
