Default Seven days of American Steel, Independence Day celebration

To celebrate Independence Day this year I've decided to dedicate a week to shaving with Made in the USA razors.

My line up consists of three Watervilles, one Case Imp 132, one Union Spike, one Torrey, and a Robeson.

Seven days of American Steel. Anyone else?

    I like it.

For me, though, that would mean a week of shaving with my Easy Aces.

Guess I need to get cracking on restoring some of the American blades I have in my "to do" pile.

There was a SOTD theme for the Super Bowl -- since the Steelers were playing, everyone posted some good ol' American razors in the thread:

Look at Glen's post on the last page. Craftsman blade + Craftsman strop.

I have a few American razors; Novelty Cutlery Co. (an heirloom from Canton, OH), Robeson mini (Rochester, NY), J.F. Ganley (Detroit, MI), and Kinfolks Wedge (NY?) are in my rotation, and a Shumate's Barber (St. Louis, MO) out being honed right now.

I am so into this, but now Ive confused myself! I dont know wether to go with the seven day set of Gems, use a mix and match bunch of American steel for the variety or get real proud and use nothing but razors made in Missouri. Sounds like I might have to write a letter to Aunty Jimbo, maybe he/she/it can help. Auntie Jimbo, where are you?!

If I owned a seven day set of US blades I would sure use them!

July 1 start date for sure.

Sounds good. So that would be the usual format, Sunday June 28 to Saturday the Fourth of July?

I was going to start July 1, placing the 4th right in the middle, but I really don't know that the date anyone starts is that important. More the thought that counts.
