i got one from don and lynn a few months back . shave ready? boy was it ever. any sharper and it would cleve atoms. i like the 6/8 size too, not to big and the extra heft somehow feels right in my hand. go ahead and just wipe the oil off it and enjoy

The perfect razor for a new shaver and has been said Lynn will hone it as a matter of course so it's a very nice deal. Now you need one of his strops:-)

A strop needn't be more expensive than that. If you treat it well it'll last you a life time and it is all you really need, but as soon as you come down with an acquisition disorder you'll think you need more and more stuff. But that's all delusional thinking.

Just out of curiosity, which strop would you recommend getting from that site for future reference?

Dovo's are nice shavers I own one, but I prefer vintage razors.

I would go for a TM strop, the SRD strop got a less favourable review on B&B. But that's only is n=1.
