There's really no secret for cleaning those scales. First you need to dismantle the whole razor so the blade can get restored. The scales were sanded down with 220 dry followed by 230, 400 and 600 grit wet sandpaper.

The bolsters were cleaned by using some 400 and 600 grit wet sandpaper with light pressure + a few buffing sequences with Maas polish.

When all was done the scales were buffed to a final shine on the buffing wheels and finalized 12000 micro mesh.
