    Default Le Help

Looking for some help IDing a manufacturer for this rasoir. What I know is that
    1) It is French
    2) It was described as Carmaguis on ebay, which means it is supposed to come from the Carmague region. This region is famous for horses and cattle, not blades.

    Nothing is impossible

It's a french straight razor from the city of Nogent (absolutely not in Camargue) ; the cutlery is Thuillier-Lefrant (was a tool and scissors makers too).

Thank you so much. It's a very neat little shaver, one of my favorites.

Look at that diligence! ClarkGable is a bonafide detective on the case. Now if only you could find me a Henry Keidel & Co. razor, I would try and get you knighted, or something equally impressive.

I am supremely impressed with Mr Gable for posting this info. I have to ask, what prompted you to look so far into the past posts? Not many bother to do that, and there is a treasure trove of info buried in there. =)
