Thread: my 1st razor help please

hello, I was hoping somebody may be able to help with a razor i bought last week. it says The solingen magnetic gnom razor and 66 it has a picture on the blade. it doesnt say anything else though !

Welcome to SRP. The name sounds familiar but I can't help much more than that. Hopefully one of our other members will join in with more info for you.

It might be more helpful if you could add a photo that shows closer detail of the tang stamp. There were a number of razor makers that used the term "Magnetic" on their razors such as C. Friedrich Ern, Peres, etc., and others who used the term "Gnome". But, I don't recall any that combined the two terms. A better photo might reveal some other clues.
