I think I just scored big time. Early to mid 19th Century? it's older than my State (California)! Photo's are dark, but scales are translucent, light honey.
Any info and advise would be appreciated, Thursday is my 46th birthday, Happy Birthday to me!

I forgot to mention that my lady bought it for me, she gave $25.

I've been using a straight razor exclusively for the last three years. This is my third, the other two are antiques, Solingers, but nothing like this one.

This one's a real heavy blade, barely hollow ground, nearly a wedge.

Here's another shot. I just got an iPod Touch, and wanted to see how photo's looked from it.

I'm more impressed that you've been able to resist RAD and run with two razors for three years!!

I've got 6 now, but won't collect more, they will always be out there if I dig hard enough.
I even sent one to my buddy in Japan, it felt good to give one of the nicest away.
He loves it, and uses it exclusively now to shave. So we have another convert!
Maybe a kamisauri (sp) in my future???

Also plan to give away a nice Peter Haun to my friend David Haun, but need to get a picture of it up on the SRP wiki first, it has the original box too.

A couple cherished razors is all I need. Now, hones, strops, brushes, creams, etc. That's another story!
