New TI Oak Wing not happy with Scales
Just received a new TI Oak Wing for Christmas, it's an absolutely beautiful razor except for four resin filled holes on one of the scales. Is this common?
I talked to the vendor and they said this is common with TI.
Need advice.
Thanks

Still Stone Crazy After All :-(
Just took a looked at mine and I see no resin filled holes. Can you post a pic of this ? Bottom line, one way or another, if I wasn't happy with the scales, and I hadn't yet used the razor, I would ask to send it back for an exchange.

+1 on pictures, I'd like to see what they did.
I checked mine also and no extra filled holes.
At the cost of these I agree with Jimmy, I'd be asking for a replacement.

I've never heard of that from TI before. Maybe it's something else?
Bring on the pictures.

I had one and passed it along. There were no holes in the scales that did not belong there.

Keep On Stropping in the Free World
Those are very unsightly and, given the premium cost of those razors, quite unacceptable. I'd contact the vendor and do an exchange or get a refund. Common or not, the vendor should know better than to sell products like this, or should at the very least offer it at a discounted price.

The original Skolor and Gentileman.
If you're not happy with a razor use the return/exchange policy. It don't think it matters if this is a common occurrence or not, all that matters is whether the razor meets your expectations.
