    Default My Wade & Butcher

I've had this Celebrated Indian Steel razor for decades, but never used it. This weekend I put it to the stones, dressed out a half dozen nicks and brought the edge to a mirror finish. Tomorrow I shall shave with it for the first time. 7/8 wedge, barber notch, horn scales a bit warped, brass pins.

I recently got one with a very similar blade shape - can't wait to restore it and try her out.
Let us know how she shaves and, if you don't like it - send it to me....hehehehe

Very nice. With a good edge you'll love the shaves. A little Neetsfootoil on a rag will bring the scales back if you are interested but they are fine as they are too.

I'm going to skip shaving tomorrow, to see if it prefers longer stubble or shorter.
