    Default Crabtree and Evelyn Maker

    Hello all,

I've recently located a straight razor I had purchased about 25 years ago from Crabtree and Evelyn and never used.
It is a 5/8 roundpoint with chamfer edged, white plastic scales. The wedge looks to be 2 separate pieces and is a white plastic also.
Tang is marked with the C&E tree logo and Crabtree & Evelyn with Solingen -Germany below that. Nothing on the reverse.
It is kept in a textured blue plastic coffin box marked only SOLINGEN and made in Germany. I remember their being a paper label on the box but it has disappeared.
Can anyone identify the maker and tell me if it should be a good shaver?
    Thanks!

I'd say it resembles an old Dovo...but thats just a shot in the dark. If its a Solingen it'll be good
