Thread: Is this razor worn out?

Hi, I recently bought my first razor on ebay and im a little worried that it may be worn out. Also if i bought a quality razor or not. Let me know what you think, thanks in advance.

I think it looks OK. It's not a big blade but it doesn't look like it's got a lot of hone wear. Made in Solingen, Germany so it's going to be a quality razor. The rust looks pretty superficial but it's hard to tell until you clean it up.

That's a good razor. It likely will never be a prom queen, but should shave well for a long time given some TLC and a proper honing. Good choice for cheap.

I've bought, honed, shaved, and sold 4 or 5 Wester Bros., I consider them to be excellent quality.
