Thread: is this straight razor any good?

I just purchased a straight razor with the word Bengall on the blade. the seller did not provide much info and I could not find much about it online. Can anybody tell me anything about it?eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Bengall is a highly regarded vintage brand from the Sheffield company R. Cadman and Sons - with regards to that particular blade though, it looks like its very well used...

Do you think it is wore out?

It's not ideal. Having said that, I think it's got life left in it. It looks to have been a pretty smallish blade to begin with. The hone wear is heavy, but not such that it's beyond usable. Give it a good home!
