Thread: New Antique Store Razor find.

I haven't been on in a while not that I haven't been looking just not finding. I just picked this up. Its a new to me Friedman and Lauterjung "electric" the price was right but can you tell me anything about it like quality, did I just buy a win or a Pakistan dud... I know it cant be as bad as the Pakistan stuff but any info would be great. Also hows the condition, I know the scales are rough but that's OK it shows character. thanks in advance.

Very little hone wear, it should hone up well

Nice find. You should be able to hone it. After honing a bunch of razors you will get good at it. But you have to start somewhere. I can tell the difference between the first razors I honed and the ones I am honing now. No amount of reading or thinking will make you a proficient honer. After reading the how to do its, go try it.
