Thread: J A Henckels Question

I bought a nice J A Henckels razor today. I am a bit skeptical however because this is stated on the blade as follows:
J A Henckels
Soligen Germany

It looks almost like a blue ink embedded in the blade. It's not like a normal etching.

Here is a the strange thing, it has the words "Black Foot" stamped on the tang and underlined. There are no other proofs on the razor except for a small marking but I cannot make it out as the replacement scales are covering it. Anyways my camera is down and wanted to see if someone has anything similar or can tell me anything about it. I also picked up a Gillette Black Beauty DE Adjustable today. Very nice. I will get a pic up hopefully tomorrow.

If you could post good pictures of the blade it would be easier to tell what the condition is.
