Thread: First time shave

I just completed my first strait razor shave .I Recevied a kit from my wife on christmas . Was a little scared at first .But then figuerd my wife is a nurse and only earshot away so i went for it . And i have to say i never felt like this , it was very relaxing.
I took my time and did the job right ( thanks to many online videos and post )
I have to say i am hooked ! I'm going to shave with the razor i have now . Its a fromm seems like it cut ok , But i think ill invest in something nice.

If you want a used one in shave ready condition, check the classifieds here. For new ones there are many reputable vendors that sponsor this forum, they have ads everywhere ;-). Congratulations on your experience!

congrats on your first shave there aint no feeling like it is there? i would also recommend the srp classifieds for a good shave ready razor and if you want a new one checkout vintage blades i will give you some good advice spend the extra $20 to get the per-honed option so you know what a shave ready razor feels like welcome to srp

Congrats Man, It is addicting, you have RAD and HAD to look forward to. LOL....it's funny because you'll actually look forward to shaving and make time for it. what type of blade did you get? Lot's of good info on here and good folks,
