Thread: FINALLY!

After shaving with a straight for about 2 months and learning to hone and strop.
And getting some tips on advance shaving from forum members.
I just gotthe best shave EVER!!!!
Better than the trac 3 (that I thought gave the best possible shave)

BTW- It was a Torrey from e-bay I rescaled and honed myself which makes it even better

I know what you mean, I'm about two months in to it as well & about week ago I finally figured out how to hold my razor just right to get that perfect shave. It's very rewarding. Great job, enjoy-!!!

Man, congrats just on getting a razor from Ebay without getting raked over the coals. I never seem to have any luck.

Congrats!! Now the only piece I need to get under my belt is honing!! I cant do it for spit yet. The satisfaction of shaving with a self-honed razors must be great!
