There is a true advantage to these theme weeks, if somebody has a rather large rotation... I know is has been quite awhile since I shaved this Robeson, Shur-Edge and these Theme weeks remind some of us about razors that have worked there way to the backs of the collections and why we liked them in the first place...

I am experiencing the same thing (EXCEPTION: My Genco that was'nt up to par). I, too, am revisiting some great shavers that I have been neglecting!

I've been trying to do that since Jan 1st but never quite am able to get too deep into the stash. Except for the weeks around Father's day all straights used have been first time around test shaves and I still have a couple of dozen more honed up and waiting their turn at first shave.

This razor gave me the best shave to date! The construction of this razor was completed yesterday. I honed it up last night and shaved with it for the first time today.

Well, today was not a revisiting of an old razor. It was a good excuse to get off my duff and finally finish working on this razor. I've coveted this beauty since I first saw it during Joe's now famous bandsaw sale. Finally tracked one down on ebay a few months ago, but have been too busy to restore it.

I think I'll call her Isabel. Oh wait, that was a different week.
