The picture shot was taken a few minutes from my house and is pretty much what you see facing West. Photographed is not a Joshua Tree but a 'Mojave Yucca' which is a Mojave desert native plant, very slow growing, reaching 6-7 feet in height and 2-3 feet in width. They are scattered all over the scenery.

Results: I had an amazing shave with the W&B. I finished the edge on a vintage coticule and 'oh boy' was this baby smooth and sharp at the same same. I'm a happy man.

One of these days I'll take a picture...A good shave with the re-honed Boker (TY JoeD) and the KD Creations Dragon's Blood cream. I had trouble with this blade previously but not this morning. It felt good for the most part but I still have some trouble under the right jaw...I suspect that is technique related. I'm still not convinced that this razor is for me...it is interesting how different blades feel different and work different for me. I'll keep at it...
