Thumbs up SOTD - Sun August 29th - Sat September 4rd

    .
    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
    Razor: Revisor
    Brush: Simpson Chubby II
    Soap: Special 218 ~ QED
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    AS: Ë-Shave unscented
    EDT: Habit Rouge ~ Guerlain
First and foremeost I want to say WOW for last week's themed SOTD. This will be one to never forget. We can't thank you enough for making this happen.
Back to the old school drawing board for our weekly SOTD's. Have a great shave!
Results: I just love the refreshing spruce scent (amongst other eo's) from the Special 218 soap. Combined with the excellent performing chubby II, freshly honed Revisor, incredible moisturizing E-shave FF AS soother and Guerlain's masterpiece Habit Rouge, I couldn't resist but have a big satisfying smile on my face.

    Cream: Tabac
    AS: Tabac
    Strop: Neil Miller linen/buffallo 30/50 and 20 pre on a ROMA 45
Result: Uber clean... I mean it
Love this blade. looks like nothing much and has a very ordinary 5/8 width, but she shaves amoung my top ten . Tabac was on it´s toes today, after approx. 30 secs of loading I got out two passes + touch ups on face and two passes on head and enough left over for another pass, but I didn´t need that. Thank you for our soft water and last weeks SOTD photos!

Razor: The Mutant (Formerly INVICTA by E.M. Dickinson of Sheffield)
    Soap: Proraso
A/S Balm: Nivea Replenishing Post Shave Balm
Soundtrack: Silence, all 4 kids asleep
This was the maiden voage for this razor. Not only the first time its been used in its current form, but I would say the first time its been used in decades judging by its condition when I aquired it.
    Result: very nice smooth shave
Not bad for a first shave after honing, it was finished on the coticule then 60 laps on leather. Tomorrow I'll try my new Thuringian and see if I can make any improvements, after that maybe a few laps on the Chrome Ox then into the rotation.
