Arrow How to keep our SOTD tidy and organized

The SOTD has seen an incredible growth in both participation of our members as being the daily chatterbox for our brotherhood. Thank you all for making the SOTD what it has become today.

Because the way we talk and interact with each other we have a tendency to respond to the same post by quoting the posted images and sometimes lengthy textual content over and over again. This makes loading the pages very slow and also makes for extended long pages with the same pictures and text showing up several times after each other.

We hereby ask you when replying to a post to at least remove the image tag or images and if possible shorten the quoted text.

Below are a few examples on how to proceed.

Thank you for your help and understanding.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Example 1

    Location: 36° 10' 25.3416" - 115° 20' 33.198"
    Razor: Quo Vadis
    Brush: Kent BK4
    Cream: Mühle Sea Buckthorn
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    A/S balm: Muhle Sea Buckthorn
    EDT: Habit Rouge Guerlain
    Result: Heaven
Comments: Probably to no one's surprise but one of my long life hobbies is photography.
Featured in my SOTD is a sekonic L-358 digital incident, reflected flash and ambient light Meter and one of my favorite Nikon lenses, AF Micro Nikkor F 2.8D 60MM.
Wishing everyone a blast in this week's SOTD.

For example when quoting on the camera comment just remove all text + picture and leave the emphasis on the camera comment.

YOUR QUOTED REPLY... example...I also use a sekonic light meter and I'm extremely happy with it.

For example when quoting on the razor and/or picture just remove all text + picture and leave the emphasis on razor/picture comment.

For example when quoting on the razor/picture and cream just remove all text + picture and leave the emphasis the razor/picture and cream comment.

YOUR QUOTED REPLY... example... I love that razor. Beautiful shot. Is the Mühle cream the same as Edwin Jagger cream being sold?
