BBS is all I have to say. Every time I use this razor I am awed by its performance. It's just a pleasure to use. I'll take this W&B with me to my grave.
Next week we're going to have our Christmas SOTD Theme. More info about our SOTD theme can be read here. Looking forward to the new SOTD.

    Default Sunday Evening

Its been a Hot day in Coffs Harbour. Took the kids down to the local beach for a BBQ lunch and a dip in the water. Great way to spend Sunday afternoon.
    Prep: Shower/Hot towel
Strop: Vintage A H Christians and Sons Waverley
    Brush: Comoy Badger
    Soap: Proraso
    Razor: The Mutant
A/S: Nivea Replenishing Post Shave Balm
Result: I just re-blued the blade on this razor because a few imperfections were driving my O.C.D. brain nuts. The process completely dulled the edge though so it went back to the hones and was finished on the Coticule. Tonight was the test shave before going any further. Gave a nice shave, but should get better after I run it over the vintage Thuri tomorrow.
    Have a great week boys.

    Default Sunday morning

    Pre: Hot shower
Brush: New Forest two band finest, custom
    Razor Klas Törnblom
Cream: Da Bomb, Potomac ala Bill
    AS: Old Spice Fresh Lime
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

I think I´ve found the sweetspot for this soap now and I´m flabergasted on how much cushion effect it gives. Max: that razor looks like a Chinese gigant food knife ... Trade? Brad: Have a great holiday! Wow - nice blades and Bali must be a good combo

I have enjoyed as a boar in a mud pond this morning looking at those fantastic SOTD pics....:

Shavemac silvertip : Taylor eye witness 5/8 : Acca Kappa SC : Home Institut ASB

For Robert, who has asked me about the brush:

    handle model: 4367
    Color: Black
    knot diameter: 22 mm.
    loft: 50 mm.
hair type: silvertip badger (not the D01, the regular silvertip of shavemac)
Last edited by du212; 12-12-2010 at 09:13 AM. Reason: commment the brush features
