    Razor: Gebr. Geldmacher #86
    Brush: Simpson Chubby II
    Cream: Geo F Trumper Rose
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    ASB: Nivea Extra Sensitive
    EDC: Hollister So Cal
Summary: It's been a long time since I shaved with my Gebr. Geldmacher razor so I decided it was time to take her for a spin. Same with my GFT Rose. What a surprise really, as both performed stellar. Smooth and sharp shave, delicious lingering rose smell that even made the dog show it's face from her hiding. The Hollister being a very sweet fragrance was the perfect ending for a lovely, warm and sunny day in Vegas. The wife approved too as I heard her mumble in the distance how great the smells were.
I've been awed by the amount of excellent SOTD's I've seen this past week. Keep up the good shaves! Enjoy the new week.

    Default Sunday Morning

Prep: Hot shower - followed by Lucky Tiger Molle’ brushless shave cream
    SS/SC: L’Occitane - Cade + L’Occitane - Cade = Superlather
Brush: Plisson faux Ebony - European White - Size 12
Strop: VB Red Latigo 50 fabric; 60 leather
    Razor: 5/8” #35 Beau Brummell
    Astringent: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel
    ASB: L’Occcitane - Cade
    EDT: L’Occitane
Result: Close, smooth, comfortable and fragrant shave…

I fell in love with L'Occitane - Cade from the moment my dampened brush touched the soap, which generated a copious amount of fragrant lather. Combined with the Cade cream, the resultant superlather was outstanding. And the delightful traditional Cade fragrance of the soap, cream, balm, and Eau de Toilette was to die for. I'll be using this combination of L'Occitane shaving products a lot more in the future.

Its been 3 days since my last shave, and man I was looking forward to this. I needed something that was up to the task and I knew the W&B would be a good choice. Nice slow guillotine strokes, the first pass was very satisfying. Got a little lazy on the 3rd pass and just did the cheeks and sideburns. Damn fine shave.
    Have a great week Gentlemen
