Thumbs up Sun June 5th - Sat June 11th

    .
    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
    Razor: Filarmonica EPBD 14
    Brush: Simpson PJ 3
    Soap: MDC
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    AS: Aramis
    EDT: Aramis
Summary: I had grown a scruffy beard this week so decided to take my EPBD for a spin. Man, had I forgotten how great of a shave that baby can deliver. It cut through my beard like a walk in the park with so much ease. Combined with the excellent lather properties of Martin De Candre soap. BBS all the way. Not one micron leftover hair left. This was definitely one of those shaves that makes you smile.
Gents, keep up the wonderful posts. Enjoy the new week

Lovely day and a lovely shave, the freshly cut Rose perks of the job looking after my neighbours house and garden while she's away in Australia. After cutting the Rose using it in the photo, then later in a very caculating way I hand the Roses to my wife as a romantic gesture, then I can do no wrong for the entire weekend, result!

    Default Sunday!

Finally off to the Golf course. After 3 months out with injury I'm ever so exited about that.

    Pre-Shave: A quick shower
    Brush: H.L. Thäter, 26mm Silver-tip
    Razor: Juan Vollmer, Palmera #14
    Strop: Kanayama #90000, tri-strop
    Soap/Cream:AL's shaving cream, Calypso
    Astringent: Thayer's Medicated SuperHazel
After shave Balm: Al's ASB, Calypso
    EdT: Martin de Candre, Lavande
Results: An exquisite shave. Al's cream is a solid performer. The Palmera is a very fine razor. I'm ready for the course.
