Razor: Incomplete Wade & Butcher Chopper Result:Today's shave was a test to see if I should continue my restoration efforts on this Wade & Butcher (I'll post the whole story in the restoration thread later). The spine was wavy, the metal was literally falling off at the edge (it used to measure 1”, now it's 9/10). I needed to be sure I could get a bevel & a shaveable edge with all of the problems I was seeing (the spine thickness varied by .035 inches at some points). I spent many hours doing gymnastics on the hones over the last week and I am pleased to report that today's shave was very, very nice. I'm not touching the blade anymore, just got to finish the scales and then pin her up.
Those microfastener screws are worth more than their weight in gold, very well done Glenn. That W&B is going to look sweet when its all finished

Julian,
I am afraid so buddy (sorry)...I may even go without one tomorrow. Just by skipping one day, my whiskers are having such a party, they look like 4 days growth (literally), but my skin feels fabulous (and ripe) for the next shave. I'll have to decide what I want to shave with.
Robert when you've reached the stage of enjoying it, whether you shave or don't shave, I think you've got it friend..Just don't take our breath away with your reentry kit....
