Thread: Gem in Ever Ready

Will a SE Gem blade fit in a SE Ever Ready Razor ? curious cause I want either a Gem or Every Ready SE razor to add to my collection. Thanks Guys

They certainly will. I would suggest that you get some of the Gem Stainless PTFE coated blades and give them a try. For a long time Gem and Ever Ready were owned by the American Safety Razor Co. Most of thier razors look very similar not surprisingly. My favorite is an Ever Ready 1914 but most that you will find are still quite cheap and good shavers.

If you just want to give it a go, send me a p.m. and I will give you a couple of blades to try.

The GEM PTFE Coated Stainless blades, for me, shave superbly in all my GEM & Ever-Ready SEs (1912, 1924, Micromatic Bullet Tip, Micromatic Open Comb, 'G-Bar').
