Thread: Lets have a contest!

I figured in honor of Halloween we should do something to celebrate so here is how this will go down.

We'll do a photo contest and entitle it "what not to do with a DE". I will leave the content of the photos up to your imagination. All entries will be judged for originality and all entries will be judged by me and anyone else I can corral into this.

The contest is open now and will close on, well...Halloween.

Just post the photos on this thread

There will be one prize given away to the best entry. That's a Dovo Barber Pole DE which was used probably 10 times and is in mint condition.

Well this sounds like it could be quite amusing!

I'd be tempted to enter if I didn't already have a Merkur 38C (I think the Spendur meant Merkur, not Dovo), but for those of you who don't I can't say enough good things about the Barber Pole. Good luck!

Sounds fun, I already have an idea, so I should be able to post a picture by this weekend. Ryan, you should still enter, I mean come on are you telling us you don't have acquisition disorders?

lol - well, I'd like to think I'm in recovery , but I try to keep my collecting limited to new things......

A couple of glasses of cabernet sauvignon, some crackers, salami, and some razor thin slices of sharp cheddar and Irish white cheddar, the cheese slicer broke so I had to improvise, just a nice relaxing Saturday afternoon.

This contest is just the place to showcase my first new guy failure. Don't try to revive your brass DE with 220 grit. Oooops!

Calling all DE shavers...are you willing to accept the challenge or is it just "regularjoe" and I? The guantlet is thrown down. Who will step up?
