Default Shaving Cream in the Eyes

I was curious today, as I almost accidently did it to myself, does shaving cream in the eye hurt? Does it depend on it being a soap versus a cream? I imagine it's at least mildly irritating, but does anyone have any horror stories, their eye swelled up like a melon, etc.? I'm not about to try it myself ofcourse

Your eye will become irritated and swell until it bursts. Your ocular mucous will then seep into your eye socket and fill your sinus cavities causing you to both injest the mucous as well as absorb it through the capillaries in your sinus and nasal passages. This will, in turn, cause severe diarrhea and internal hemmoraghing of the lower intestinal tract as well as complete loss of control of your sphincter.

As this is occuring, your body will begin attacking the mucous that has seeped into your blood-stream. This attack will program your white blood cells to attack any other cell with similar DNA structure, which includes all of the other cells in your body. Your white blood cells will first attack your musculature and your nervous system, causing you to flail about uncontrollably before crumpling into a writhing, diarrheal heap on the floor.

And as your internal organs shut down from the white blood cell attack, the last thought that will cross your pain-addled mind as you gag on your own vomit before slowly dying a horrible and painful death will be "Why oh why didn't I just use an electric?"

Or I could just be making that up because I really don't know what would happen...

while kasperitis tells an interesting story I can not believe it would be any worse then getting shampoo in your eyes.

I got some soap in my eye once....it gave me diabetes

Seriously, I did...it felt just like regular soap...burned a little.

And that's the last time I ever tried shaving my eyelashes.

Mental note... don't buy soap from kasperitis...

I've gotten some of Colleen's soap in my eyes and it was only slightly irritating, nowhere near as bad as shampoo. Same for mamabear's, I think they were both EO soaps, neither was any worse than opening your eyes in a swimming pool. Having said that I would not encourage lathering your eyeballs... I only got a tiny bit of lather, not a brush full.

Th only serious side effect of getting soap in your eyes is that they get too clean. If your eyes are too clean you won't be able to look at any dirty websites for a while, your eyes will just refuse to see them.

Default where's my moustache and cigar?

Doctor, doctor! It hurts when I get shaving cream in my eye!

Today's response: Prevailing medical opinion is that, while not usually resulting in acute damage, OSD (occular surfactant dosing) is contraindicated. If occuring, rinse eyes with water for 10 minutes. If redness or irritation persists, please consult your doctor. We will work with your insurance company to determine the most painful way to r*pe your wallet. Good day.

Back when men used straight razors: Then don't get shaving cream in your eye!

Well thanks now I can't get that song "smoke gets in your eyes" out of my head. I've done it a couple of times and depending on the soap you might get a little irritation or you might need to wear a patch over that socket.
Why I'm so good with a pistol I could kill a crow on the wing. Did the crow have a pistol? Was he shooting back? I will be.
