LOL....I'm sorry but that was a funny story, I'm sure the pain wasn't funny but the mental picture is hilarious![]()
Oh, I have a better one, although it was with a DE.
So, back in the DE days, I used to shave in the shower. Usually, I would do a stroke, rinse out the hairs and cream, and do the next. However, this time, there were some hairs stuck in the razor and I thought I could shake these out. Just give it a firm flick of the wrist, and they would be gone, right? Well, yes, right, however, I was naked, in the shower, and happened to flick the entire razor down (with my arm), slicing my little man pretty bad...
Never shaved in the shower again, never even dared to put a styptic pencil on it (it bled bad, but I figured bandages would be a less painful route).
WolfmanXIII,
i am using a so-called natural alum block. It is actually used as a natural underarm deodorant that i picked up in a natural food store, but the active ingredient is only aluminum potassium and no sulphites added. As far as i know, this type of alum block is quite natural and "safer" to use than the conventional blocks. You might want to give a try to compare the two.
Cheers
Dubs,
i have been using a natural alum block + witch hazel + pure lanolin when i get any nicks and cuts - and i have received some nasty ones - and have been fine with this method. It seems to heal up the cuts quickly.
Cheers
Lynn,
If you want a more natural alternative, you might try a natural alum block + witch hazel + pure lanolin. i seem to get very good results when i get my many nicks and cuts.
