    Default small stropping question

I waited 3 days to straight shave and after I was done I felt I missed a few spots on/around my chin area..chin pits as well...could it be if a razor is NOT stropped as good as it can be miss more spots than usual as if the razor were to be stropped properly..sometimes I find myself stropping lifting the spine..and others in damn good at stropping like a pro..thoughts?

My advice would be to slow down and refrain from lifting the spine when you strop.

Then you'll have quantitative evidence with regards to your question. Your shaves might improve tenfold.

I don't think the stropping has much to do with missing areas. That's a technique thing. Properly stropped you'll get a smoother shave. if you rounded the edge stropping it just wouldn't shave right at all.

Maybe quit worrying about stropping like a pro and concentrate on stropping like a competent amateur.
