    Default Shaving with a 4/8

So i wanted some opinions about this matter. I just got my first 4/8 razor.. I was just wondering if any of yall find it more or less desirable to shave with a particularly small razor.. she's small but she's a beauty! If yall were curious its a Boker Red Injun No. 100 i just need to get it honed up and shave with her! attached are some (bad) pics i took of her and one of her compared to my Bismarck (6/8 i believe) sheesh.. i really wish my iphone camera had a focus setting...

It does. Just touch the screen where you want it to focus and a white focus box will appear.

I never understood the aversion to 4/8 razors. They shave nicely, and for under the nose and chin and in nooks and cracks, they are unexcelled.

I've had a couple 4/8's, and got some very nice shaves of them, but they tend to be to light IMO, I like razor with a little more weight, but as always YMMV.

I have some 4/8s and to tell you the truth I love em. I actually prefer them to a big 8/8s which to me seems clumsy and harder to maneuver around your face. The fact it's light is a plus for me.

I like the feel of larger razors, but to be honest my 4/8 Henckels probably outperforms all of them in the long run. Maybe that's got a bit to do with the idea that it's easier to handle, but the take-away point is that while (some may feel) 4/8s aren't the most visually appealing, they definitely have the ability to get the job done.

I'm torn on my 4/8 razors. My best shaver is an extremely hollow 4/8, but I prefer the weight of slightly heavier razors. I found a 4/8 wedge, while I like the combination of weight and size I still prefer the hollows.

    I have a couple 4/8s that I love. A W&B and a Wostie.

Other than that, I like the big boys....

I'm also a fan of them as a change of pace; I love how easy they are to maneuver but I normally prefer just a bit more weight.
