Default Help! Wife loves stubble on the weekend...

But I love to shave! What's a guy to do? I've got razors to hone and test. I can't let a day's beard go to waste! To shave or satisfy the wife? That is the question.

    Happy wife, happy life.

Tough call man. There are seven days in the week...I suppose you COULD divy them up. The question is....are there other "tangible" rewards from having said stubble????? If that's the case, grow a freakin' beard man!

As much as I enjoy shaving, there is satisfaction in shaving a beard with several days' worth of growth and your daily shave can be to clean up the beard lines.

"intangible" would be the pleasure she would derive from you having stubble..... "tangible" would be the physical act of her responce... Grow the stubble...

Is she liking this style of stubble -

    Don Johnson :

Guntherteria: RATE-A-RECORD: DON JOHNSON VS. BRUCE WILLIS

    Or George Michael :

    I Was Here.: George Michael

ha ha good luck and enjoy those ...ahem , cough , cough ..."tangible" benefits !

    Cheers,

    Scott

If you can have friends with benefits, then I suppose you can have stubble with benefits.

Going the weekend without shaving isn't a complete loss. It will make the act of shaving that much more enjoyable when you resume.

    Do they make beard toupes?

My lovely bride prefers it otherwise. She has various ways of stating this that wouldn't be gentlemanly to mention. If she preferred stubble, I'd probably have a wedge for Monday morning shaves.

You have plenty of shaves ahead of you in life; growing some stubble on the weekend is a small price to pay to keep SWMBO happy - and by extension, you as well

I love this post. I too would love to grow stubble over the weekend and my wife digs it too. Since taking up the straight razors I haven't had as smooth a face since I was a kid pre shaving. I count the hours until I "get" to shave again. Good luck.
