Thread: Shaved my two brothers today.

Had family over for dinner tonight. My two brothers decided they wanted a real shave so after an awesome meal I instructed them to wash there faces and whipped up some lather. Neither had ever been shaved with a straight before. I had never shaved anyone else before. Here goes nothing.

It was kind of tricky getting the right angles and had to pay extra attention to the growth on both there faces. Decided to only do a 2 pass shave on each of them. Best news of all- No blood!

6/8th Full Hollow Geneva Cutlery Henry's XX, Proraso cream, El cheapo boar brush and Masters Bay Rum to seal the deal.


Brother #1 wanted me to leave his 'stache as he is gonna grow it out.


Brother #2 wanted it all off.


Kinda wish I would have taken before pictures but I wasn't the one snapping the camera. All in all they were happy with their shaves and was great being able to do it for them. It was really a cool experience and I know they're going to be talking about it.

Yes, that's 2/4 brothers down. The third will be easy to get. The fourth will take some convincing. Brother #2 was telling me he normally has a tough time under the jawline. Not when I got done with him.

That is awesome. I lent my DE and some gear to my brother at Christmas time, but he keeps putting it off. Maybe I should try this and get him hooked.

Well played! Did you find shaving someone else a bit nerve racking at first? I found that although I'm very comfortable shaving myself, when I tried to shave someone else I was very nervous. Eventually it went away and I delivered a good, bloodless shave just like you did. Any chance either one of them will convert or were they nervous while you were shaving them?
