GREAT thread and some awesome finds here. I used to have a pad in San Diego (well, Coronado actually, but close enough for Jazz). Enjoy that new Grandson!

I'm a noob at restoring razors, but I figured that after restoring Vintage Stereos for decades, a new restoration project path was in order. I just finished my Wade and Butcher FBU. I'll post that soon in "Daily Shave". Now working on the Yankee. I have to also start fabricating some scales for two of my blade finds.

Thank you. It's fun learning something new. I look forward to working on this one.

First of all, I want to say I've enjoyed checking in on this thread periodically since it was started. You sure do have one heck of a honey hole where you live!

I couldn't help myself, and had to finally post here after your most recent find. That is an awesome razor, my good man! With a big honking blade like that, if the notched point had a bit of a hook to it, it could also be used as a bottle opener! Lol!

    Congrats on the new grandson!

Thank you! Glad you joined in.
It's probably the most unique blade I have. I look forward to shaving with it.

I know there were a few other collector's scouring the Portland Antique Show at the Expo this weekend as dealers mentioned others making similar inquiries. There were lots of safety razors, a really nice Allegro strop/hone set with NOS Henckel's Friodur for $100 (4/8" blade killed the deal for me), a few killer wedge lather catcher sets which would be duplicates for me and many other items that I would have liked to purchase but decided to stay within budget and purchase items only for my personal use. I did fudge a little on the latter goal as the Schick for $5 will pay for the majority of my haul. Without further delay:

Anybody else care to show their scores?

The rattler rattler and the thumb notch catch my eye, can you add some closer pics? Nice gathering there.
